Hawaii Wildlife Fund - Beach clean up #1

Hawaii Wildlife Fund received funding for 3 beach clean ups
within the next 3 months. The first one took place at the southern point of Hawai'i. Rowan was assigned to drive the big truck, which held most of the trash. Bill, Sterling, and Shannon worked toghether pulling huge nets with the help of a winch behind Bill's truck. There were about 15 volunteers present. After filling several trucks with trash, we drove to the dump station and recycling center. It was a great feeling being able to help with this project!

Thanksgiving

Early today, Bill taught Shannon how to make a vase in his woodshop while everyone was sweating away in their kitchens preparing for the big feast. Next time, Rowan will get to play and make her own vase.

A normal day

Aunt Ruby & Cousin Stacy were on a cruise and had the opportunity to see the East side of Hawaii for the day. Rowan and I took them to the winery, volcano park, our cabin, and Rainbow falls.

Rowan has been sitting for the Volcano Rainforest Retreat (one of the places we work) for 4 days. Here she's making reservations in the office. And one resident joins us in the office to dry off.
