School is out!

Today was the last day of school! There are a series of finals/papers for Rowan and I have one more paper. We got our construction loan so we've ordered water & septic tanks. We're putting in a request for a customer meter pole. Will this all be done by the time we return from our vacation (Jan 3rd) - highly doubtful! See our completed driveway. I went ahead and added this cute picture of Dolphin and his "after meal dance".

Turkey Day

Happy Thanksgiving! Shannon and I took the day to finally bike around the crater, what a ride! We cycled off the main road to all the little look outs we had never explored before, road a ways on a trail, where Shannon got a flat tire, then through the vast desert-like lava fields. The hill back up to the car was a long one...we stopped and rested for awhile, enjoying the views. We vow to do it a few more times to get in shape. So, we are thankful for Volcano, and everything it brings. Dinner that night was with Bill, Casey, and others..a great feast. I hope all of you are well! Rowan
